Frequently Asked Questions

When does my subscription renew?

Subscriptions renew automatically 24 hours before the end of the billing period. You can check when you’re next payment will be processed in your account settings.

What happens to my sites when I cancel my subscription?

Well they pretty much stay the same. We will of course add Hot Page branding like on any free site. And you won’t be able to create more pages if you’re over the limit for a free site.

Where can I see my past invoices?

They’re in your account settings under subscription.

How can I change my payment method?

In your account settings you can add and remove credit cards and change the active one for your subscription.

If there’s a problem with my credit card when it comes time to renew, what happens to my site?

We will keep trying your credit card a few times over the next two weeks. In the meantime your sites will remain unchanged but you won’t be able to make any new changes. After two weeks, we’ll cancel your subscription and downgrade you to our free plan.

Can I download my site data before I leave?

You bet. Site downloads are available on all paid plans, so download before you cancel.

What do we do when a user hits their quotas?

Well right now, we’re not enforcing limits on bandwidth and storage so you will only hear from us if something goes horribly wrong. Please be considerate.

Why don’t you charge per site?

We think most web hosts are kinda scammy and gross. Tricks like introductory pricing are an insult to people’s intelligence and inherently unfair. We believe in honest, straightforward interactions with our customers. Wether you have one site or five, it really doesn’t make much difference to us— we’re just trying to give you a good service at a price that’s fair.
